Specialist Noise Barrier Acoustic Fencing, timber Bin Stores and temporary site Hoarding designs complement our range making our Timber fencing a key solution to maintaining aesthetic value while also prioritising the safety of pedestrians, visitors and wildlife.

Although not renowned for their high security designs, modern day adaptations of timber fencing have evolved into Timber/ Steel hybrid options, providing improved durability, security and rigidness to classic designs.

How do I maintain and treat timber fencing to ensure a long life?

Nearly all our permanent timber fences are manufactured from softwood species with the application of modern preservative treatments pressured into the material in line with the current British Standards. This ensures longevity of the material however timber’s colour does tend to fade over several years to a light grey when installed outside (although the preservative is still at work!). Many of our clients choose to apply stains to change the appearance a few years after initial installation and others prefer to keep the timber with its natural appearance.

Bespoke designs using Hardwoods may require “oiling” and our experienced team will be able to offer any help or advice regarding a recommended maintenance schedule based on the exact species used.
