Project Overview
Crown Packaging approached Metafence to carry out a full upgrade of their perimeter security. Their existing chain-link fencing no longer met the modern security requirements for an industrial facility. The goal was to install a high-security anti-climb mesh fence around the site’s boundary, along with additional safety fencing near a pond. Due to operational constraints and budget planning, the project was phased over time to suit the client’s needs.

Challenges & Solutions
- Soft Ground Conditions: In several areas, post depths were increased and concrete foundations enlarged to maintain a solid and level fence line
- Sloped Terrain: Where fencing crossed inclines, trenching was used to eliminate ground gaps and preserve security integrity
- Phased Working: Each fencing section was dismantled and replaced daily, ensuring the site was never left unsecured overnight
